Overview

Chocolate was first discovered and processed by Mexico's Aztec and Mayan Indians
hundreds of years ago. The Aztecs and Mayans created chocolate items and drinks very
different from the kinds of refined milk chocolate we are familiar with from Europe. This tour
invites you to discover the ancient chocolate art!

Upon arrival, you will be treated with a delicious Chocolate Martini. takes place on a quiet, air conditioned seaside terrace. This in-depth presentation brings to life the many steps the chocolate seed pods must go through in the process of turning them into chocolate.
By grinding together some of the traditional ingredients, guests participate first hand in the same chocolate processing techniques that, even after many centuries, are still used today by the Mayans.

After creating and tasting the various chocolate items, you will have time to shop from a
large variety of chocolate products (including body lotion).

MEETING INFORMATION

For this Chocolate Seaside Workshop & Wine Tasting, you must go to the "Stingray Beach Club". Take one of the cabs available from the port, it costs $15-$18 US per cab (1-4 persons), also for your return, cabs are available outside the Beach club. TAXI FEE NOT INCLUDED.
